Casa per una famiglia

L'edificio esistente non era adatto alla nuova famiglia che andava ad ospitare.
I due piani dedicati alla zona giorno definivano spazi angusti, mal relazionati, lontani dallo splendido paesaggio che si offre al lato verso valle.
Il progetto cerca di liberare gli spazi e metterli in comunicazione attraverso un volume vuoto, un nuovo inserto su cui tutti gli spazi e il paesaggio si affacciano.
In questo modo i due piani sono messi in comunicazione da una doppia altezza e tutti i singoli spazi della zona giorno si guardano l'un l'altro permettendo alla famiglia di vivere insieme la casa.
Il paesaggio, grazie ad una ridefinizione delle aperture e allo svuotamento della pianta, entra fino agli spazi più interni e diventa l'argomento principale della casa. Il nuovo volume cavo, con le sue geometrie attente ad ascoltare le imperfezioni dell'edificio storico, prende corpo grazie ad un legno chiaro e morbido, che diventa il nuovo cuore dell’abitazione.

The existing building was not suitable for the new family.
The two floors dedicated to the living area used to define narrow spaces, poorly related, hidden from the beautiful landscape of the area.
The project seeks to free the spaces and put them into communication through an empty volume, a new insertion on which all the spaces and the landscape overlook.
In this way the two floors are connected by a double height and all the individual spaces of the living area look at each other, allowing the family to live together the house.
The landscape, thanks to a redefinition of the openings and the emptying of the plan, opens up to the most internal spaces and becomes the center of the house.
The new hollow volume, with its geometries that careful to listen to the imperfections of the historical building, takes shape thanks to a light and soft wood, that becomes the new heart of the house.
